Friday: Favorite Thing Day

My favorite place for jewelry is http://www.emitations.com/. I love this place you can find all kinds of celebrity look alike jewelry for a great bargain. Thursday: Family Inspiration Fun Day

So I thought playing a game at home with the kids would be fun! My husband started movie nights a couple of years ago with the kids. He brings home a movie that just got released or we watch one at home. We make snacks and have family time the kids really enjoy movie night!:) So I have this fun game for you movie fanatics.... So here's what you'll need...


1).A piece of scrap paper for writing down your favorite kid movies..
2). Some colorful index cards...
3). Different color markers ( Be creative)
4). Timer( I use my cellphone for this)



Now once you have figure out your movies on your blank sheet of paper... Write down the name of the movie on the back of the index card and clues on the other side..

Example: Cinderella(Movie) Clues: 1. I have 2 mean step sisters. 2. I have a fairy godmother. 3. I have a pair of glass slippers.
Now theses are just my examples you can come up with your own.. Depending on the age of your children you can make it easy or hard. You can also use scencs from the movie... Example: A song clip from the movie or a famous line in the movie.. Now once you have written your clues at least 3 or more. Here's how you play the game..

Pick teams... Flip a coin or pick a number to figure out who starts. Whatever works for you. Put the pile of cards in the center of the table movie name side down and clues facing up. The team who turn it is reads the clue and only get 1 minute (timer) to guess the name of the movie..Once they guess the name you can reveal the otherside.. You can play this for however long rotating between teams.. Have fun hope you enjoy:)

Wednesday: Fashion Day

Tuesday: What you can get for under 25$ day

So one of my favorite things to collect is NAIL POLISH... I am in need for some new spring/summer colors and have bought 3 new colors @ only 2.04 each..(Target) I got twisted pink, Mellow Yellow and Strobe light. I think it's nice to treat yourself without over spending. Every week if you tried to go out and spend under 25.00 over time you would have yourself a nice collection of whatever you like... Nail polish, eyeshadow, lip gloss, jewelry etc... I am so excited about these new colors .. I think I'll have to go on the hunt for some matching jewelry... Hope you guys enjoy:)

Monday: Inspiration Day

We'll I had a great Easter with family! My words of inspiration today are simple! Enjoy your family and make happy memories! We didn't dye easter eggs this year but we did make cute cupcakes; which I think I might start doing every year instead. I don't know about you but I like changing the norm and doing something different. We had so much fun and the kids really enjoy themselves. My family also loved the cupcakes!

Friday: Favorite Thing Day

Here's one of my many favorite things..Since summers around the corner and they'll be plenty of free time. I thought these play date cards might be great! Schedule a few play dates for the summer! I love play dates... I enjoy talking to other moms and love for my kids to play with there friends! I found these adorable play date cards.. http://www.tinyprints.com. You can personalize them anyway you want and be the talk of preschool...There's also a back side were you put your personal information and also a slot for your playdate time(neat). I don't know about you but I like to make a statement and this is a great way to do it! I have this website saved in my favorites for when my 2 little princesses get ready for preschool soon. Thursday: Family Inspiration Fun Day

So since it's a few days before Easter. I thought this would be a fun family activity for me and the kids to do. We will be going to my mom's for Easter and I am in charge of bringing cupcakes and a side dish. I am all about presentation when I make things so I know these cupcakes will be a hit. Now this isn't a picture of my cupcakes... I will be posting a picture of ours in an upcoming blog. If you would like to make this a fun activity for your family. Here's what you'll need..

1. A box of your favorite cupcake mix / Frosting (White or Pink)
2. Coconut (Green food coloring to make it look like grass)
3. Jelly Beans or whatever candy you prefer
4. Ribbon
5. Craft Pipe (Micheals or any craft store should have this)

Now go to work and have fun making these adorable cupcakes!
