Where has the time gone...

I feel so bad that I haven't been on here in a while... I have been so busy with home life that I have been lacking in blogging. I'm back!

We'll it has been over 30 days! My detox didn't go well. I managed to get away from facebook for less than 2 weeks. I also only lasted 1 day without eating any sweets! I have been extremely busy with my family and our house! We are 3 weeks into the school year and I am happy the kids are back at school. The only part I hate is when they get sick:(... We'll I wanted to share with you some of my Favorite Fall Foods! I love the fall it reminds me of family time !

30 day detox

This will be my last post until 30 days from now. I will check back in on September 1st to let you know how detox went with my 3 addictions. Hopefully I will have some good news! This is going to be a challenge:/

I am an Addict of Several Things..

Addict: a person who is addicted to an activity, habit, or substance.

I realized I have some serious Addictions that I need to break! My 3 major addictions are Facebook, The Computer and Sugar! 3 bad combinations might I say! So I have decided to try and detox myself from these 3 things. I have temporarily deleted my Facebook page, I am going to only use the computer for important things, and I am going on a sugar fast! I would like to do this for 30 days and see what new things I can get myself into and how much more I can accomplish without these things! Do you have an addiction? What are you going to do to solve this problem?

If your looking for a sweet look for under 25$ here it is.. You can basically find just about any top on clearance today since they are coming out with fall clothing for back to school. I found a similiar top at Old Navy for 10.00 pair with a cute pair of jeans, wedges or flats and your good to go! This is also a cute hair do for the summer especially for those hot days and bangs are a little much. Here are a few of my favorite summer items! I love having cute little tote bags to throw kids stuff in or a nice book and things for myself! I also love bling watches I think there a great accessory to have. Last on my list is this awesome purse organizer which I am in such a need for.. I am always looking for things and have tons of paper and kid items in my purse so this will help out so much!

Tuesday: Cute Ideas for Father's Day...

Father's Day is this weekend and I have been trying to figure out what to do for my husband. I love to do crafts with the kids although he is not the craft kinda of guy I think we will incorporate something fun that me and the kids will enjoy creating! My top favorite gift idea is the grill cupcakes and the dad card.. Me and the kids are going on a mini field trip today to go take some photos and pick up some gifts for dad.. I will pick up the letters D.A.D.D.Y and take photos of our 6 kids holding a letter and put it together in a card! You can't go wrong with Personalization! We love to make cupcakes in our house since the girls got there cupcake maker for Christmas.. I think we have made over 12 dozen cupcakes since we had it..( No joke) I will of course pick up a few extras that he really needs and go to my favorite store for wrapping paper! Hope this helps anyone who is having a hard time thinking of a gift!

Monday: Inspiration Day

My inspiration today for all women... Is you don't always have to get professional work done to keep your appearance up!
My new favorite item are these cute nail strips you apply to your nails and they stay on your nails for 10 days. Only 9.99 @ target, walgreens etc... I just tried mine out yesterday and I loooove, looove this product.. It is like real nail polish on your nails, they come in solid colors and prints. It doesn't get any better than this!

I found these cute Potty watches online(only 36.00)... they are made for children you may set a timer on the watch for every hour etc... It will vibrate and make a sound to signal your child its time to go potty! I thought this was so neat. I have been trying to potty train twins. So it is very diffcult to tell them go to the potty every hour. Not to mention it will get them excited to have something special around there wrist and they wil feel like they have an important job to do!

I know I have been M.I.A this week! I decided to take a break this week from work.. Thursday: Family Inspiration Fun Day

Well the school year is coming to an end! I always tried to find something to make for the kids teachers it is fun for me and the kids! I haven't decided what craft I would like to do yet! But while I was searching I found some really cute ideas I'd thought I'd share. It has to be fun this time of year to be a teacher.. All the cool gifts they receive from students and not to mention the summer vacation ahead... I think I am leaning towards the colored pencil flower arrangement idea!(So cute)

Tuesday: What you can get for under 25$ day

I missed blogging yesterday because we had some issues with our Internet services... So today Is a mix of what I was going to talk about yesterday and it ties into today's topic also. I normally like to talk about inspiration on Monday because it's after a long weekend, church, family time etc... This weekend made me think about this book. I have a few years before I will go through teenage years with my kids. Its a very difficult time for some families, this is when the changes start to occur and the kids start to rebel a little or a lot because they want to be able to do whatever they want without being told what to do. This is also the time when the adult reminds themselves of some bad mistakes they had made and try to prevent there child from doing those same things. THIS causes some very serious conflicts and communication is the key when dealing with those kind of issues. You want to be able to connect with your child while there searching for themselves and dealing with some uneasy situations. I found this book at my local store a few weeks back and thought this would be a great gift to give to your daughter before middle school or right before high school so that you guys are able to communicate and hopefully have a easy transition during those teenage years. Thursday: Family Inspiration Fun Day

Its becoming a trend that I end up writing about cute treats I would like to make with the kids or something I have already done.. So I think Thursday's theme will be Fun Treat Day... Since it is Strawberry Season and it is Picnic Season and a few Summer Parties are in the mix. I found these yummy, cute and fun strawberry snacks you can make with the kids. I think they will be so cute to decorate any table.. Move over Chocolate covered strawberries .. hello sparkle strawberries.. Just think of 4Th of July with red, white and blue strawberries or a cute picnic with rainbow colored strawberries.. I can go on with the endless color selections you can do with these and not to mention it's a healthy choice! Here's how you make them...

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

1 pint fresh strawberries

1/4 cup colored sugar

4 ounces softened cream cheese

2 teaspoons confectioners sugar

4 teaspoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Wash the whole berries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Fill a shallow bowl with colored sugar (you can buy this at the grocery store or mix your own by stirring two drops of food coloring into 1/4 cup of sugar).

In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla extract with a fork until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to achieve the desired consistency.

Holding the berries by their stems, your kids can dip them into the cream cheese mixture, roll them in the sugar, and enjoy.

Monday: Inspiration Day " Vision Boards"

I love this Vision board it's gorgeous!


I have been busy getting things in order so that one day I can be successful in my career! I hear a lot about making vision boards and a lot of people saying good things have come their way! I have made my own career vision board with pictures I have found on the Internet! I have added a few sayings in each of my photos to make it more real for me! So I encourage you to make your own vision board. I believe I have truly found my passion in Life and I am excited about my future adventures. I love being creative and I just love cute things... There are so many things I can see myself doing.. I could see myself writing a children's book, being a event planner, owning my own children's boutique, making cute girl clothes and so on... If you can see I love using my creative mind and my God Given Talent! It took me years before I finally figured this out but all alone it was right their in front of my face.. When I was a child I used to always find myself trying to invent some kind of business, lemonade stand, friendship bracelet business etc. When I was a teenager I loved to draw fashion clothing and make up cute stories... All alone my talents were there and I was using them but not really tapping in to them. So I encourage anyone who is reading this post to really sit down and think about what comes natural to you? What do you love? What gets you excited? God has given each of us talents, some have more than 1 others only 1 but whatever it is it was meant for you and is waiting for you to discover it!

Thursday: Family Inspiration Fun Day

Well the summer is quickly approaching and a fun dessert to make with the kids is MUD PIE.They are so fun to make and cute.. The kids will have a ball with these.. I also think there great for birthday parties and holidays.... Here's what you will need... Oreo cookies(this will be the dirt and you will need to crumble them up in a large baggie with a cookie roller.) Choclate Jello Pudding(This is your mud) Gummy Worms (This will be your worms coming out of the dirt)You may also add whip cream in between the pudding for extra flavor.. You can be so creative with this project.. You can get mini flower pots to add some extra excitement.. You can also get a larger flower pot for one big center piece and scoop it out with a small shovel... You can hide more gummy insects in the dirt for more realistic feel.
