Funny Mishap!

Every business owner probably has a story like mine! A couple of weeks ago I was ordering flowers for my headbands and hats.. I had placed all my items in my shopping cart and proceeded to check out. During the checkout I realized this wasn't the typical shipping price I had been use to 5-30$... It was next day shipping for 100$.... I mean it should have raised a BIG RED FLAG but it didn't I just was desperate for my order and I was willing to pay.... I brag to my husband how I found this great site and I just order tons of flowers but the shipping was rare...So the next day me and my family are on our way out to our kids soccer championship games.. My box has arrived... (woo- hoo) I'm so excited... My husband gets the box and starts to bring it to me and says to me this says (PERISHABLE)... Oh my Gosh.... I can't believe it I just ordered real flowers.. I had 20 dozen boutiques of REAL flowers.. I wanted to cry... What I am I going to do with all these flowers and what about the money I just blew.....In the end I had tons of beautiful flowers in my kitchen for the next week... What can you do sometimes! ( THis wasn't my real picture my camera was down during this time..But I thought I give you a picture of what my home looked like.. A flower warehouse...

We'll it's been sometime since I've posted any new information up about MiMe's Closet... We'll the good news is we finally have our website graphics up.... We still have a lot of work ahead of us... Hopefully we can be ready for August 2009 opening... We just got the packaging for our birthday packages and starter sets..They are really adorable! That's pretty much it right now... I'm really excited and happy the way things are going...

Invest in your customers and they'll invest in your business. A great way to get potential buyers is to be generous sometimes... I enjoy making people happy .. I love love to give gifts! It's even better when it's something I do. I can customize my hair bows anyway that I want.I am really trying to get a lot of work done so that I can get my site up and running. I have so many potential customers asking when is my website going to be up... In the meantime I am giving a few freebies out to help market my site and also add a few smiles to a little girls face.

Memorial Day Weekend....

On Memorial Day we don't do anything big... We do appreciate all our soliders and what they have done for us.. We have several family members that have dedicated there time to service our country... So we usually relax and eat a few picnic favorites, hamburgers,baked beans, corn on the cob and my favorite a nice LARGE cup of cold lemonade...... I hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day and bless those who have lost or have been away from love ones on this day....

Our new site is coming....

Our new site is finally coming together. It's been months that we have been at it. We finally have our logo.. I am so excited about it.! We still have much more to do before our grand opening of MiMe's Closet... We have lots of cute girly hair accessories... Our bow hats, clippies, over-the-top-bows etc.... What sets us apart from many of the other sites are we are trying to make our products very affordable with the same great quality! We feel that you shouldn't have to spend tons of money on accessories to give your girl's that final look... Our main goal is to give you affordable, stylish accessories....
